Boy was I mistaken!

I had a hypothosis about my girls...We NEVER put bows, frills or a lot of pink on London and she turned out to be the most girly little girl i've ever met, Addie on the other hand had a bow stuck to her head and a bracelet on her arm as soon as she was released from the NICU...she was only 6 hours old! So our hypothosis was that Addie would turn out to be a tomboy. Well, I was wrong! Yesterday i went upstairs to check on her after she snuck up to play and found her with one of London's purses over her shoulder and a barbie in the other hand...inside the purse was a pink princess diary she had put in. Today she found a pink back pack full of dolls and other random items and put it on with the help of London who she enlisted to help. She walked around with the back pack and a pink hat the rest of the day! She is really coming into her own! She will set her mind to something that is "big kid" and try to do it...and if she can not succeed on her own she will come and get me, take my hand, lead me to where she needs help and go on with whatever she is doing. Yesterday morning she wanted to sit at the dining room table. She couldn't get on the tall chairs alone, so she took me by the hand, led me to the table and asked me to put her in the chair...then she wanted a glass cup left out on the table...she got a sippy instead, then it needed to be filled from the water pitcher on the table, and then she insisted on staying there at the big table for breakfast...She is a riot! She is a girly girl who knows what she wants and how to get it...Apparently she is more like her big sister than we gave her credit! It must not be all about if you put bows on them when they are babies!!
