Back to school celebration

We had a back to school party as a last minute thought last year...basically London's choice of dinner the first day of school, but this year thanks to some great online blog inspiration, we stepped it up. The night before school started we had a party... complete with streamers party decorations and those little exploding confetti party favors. I made the kids crowns with their grade they were entering on them... and they turned out pretty cute if I do say so myself! Camden and London wore them everywhere but school for the first week! The kids chose waffles with strawberries and whip cream for dinner and the evening finished out with a lesson on Preisthood blessings and a special fathers blessing. It was a fabulous night and now it will be a back to school tradition!
