She is a poet and she knows it!!!

London's class held an end of the year poetry recital for all of the parents and it was SOOOO cute! The kids have been learning poetry all year and getting good practice reciting them to the class each friday. Then at the end of the year the kids had to choose a poem they learned outside of class and recite it in front of all the kids and their parents. They also had several poems they recited as a class for us. It was literally the cutest program i've ever seen kids do. It was so filled with personality and excitement. London chose a poem she had learned at the library's story time called "Grandma Bear From Delaware." She opened the program by sitting in her rocking chair with her bear reciting:
"Grandma bear from delaware
sitting in a rickety rocking chair
Socks on her feet and a ribbon in her hair
Grandma bear from delaware."
Her teacher Mrs. BAER as well as Jared and I were all so proud of her!!!
