London's class field trip

Each grade has a special field trip and London's was to go to an amish farm. We live in the heart of Amish country, within 10 minutes you can be driving with horses and buggy's, it's really neat. So London spent the entire year learning about the amish and coming home to tell us everything. Then she finally consented to let me come along (only since ALL the other parents were going!) It was such a great day. First only having one of my kids to watch and having it be the oldest was cake....but it was such a treat to see her in her element being the big kid was so sweet! Her favorite parts of the day were playing in the one room school house and her little amish porcelain doll she got at the gift shop. It was a fabulous 6 hour day just the two of us...well not to mention the teacher and all the other kindergarten kids with their parents!
