Happy Valentines Day!!

Yes I know i'm a week late, but i had to post about our valentines day. This has never been a really big holiday at our house. We normally try remember it, but even with our kids we haven't gone out for valentines dates most years. But this year was a little different...The day before valentines i was at the store picking up a few things when jared called from home to see where i was...it's unheard of for him to be off on time! When we arrived we found him in the kitchen arranging 2 dozen roses and a little sad i hadn't been surprised by their delivery...i was out doing errands when they were delivered 5 hours earlier, and never come in the front door. The boys had their own surprise which you can read about in the next post. Then on valentines day i was getting the kids ready when jared said he thought he heard someone knock...i checked the door and there was no one there, and nothing "on" the doorstep that i could see out the window. 20 minutes later the kids delivered a flower delivery box to me while i was getting ready. I was sure it was the same box with some sort of gift such as one of their toys inside until i saw both boxes together...it had another two dozen roses inside...Jared had four dozen roses delivered to me over the two days....I have to admit i was speechless and teared up at the gesture. They were beautiful and while he was a little disappointed in how long cut flowers last...i will always still be amazed that my husband bought me 4 dozed roses for valentines day. definite brownie points...i know he loves me!!
