She did it!!

London's school district sponsored an elementary school fun run, and London decided she wanted to participate. They held it at a local high school track. She went out on the field with all of the kindergartners and did some fun warmups and then they lined up at the starting line. We were so proud of her...she ran the entire track with out stopping or slowing down once, and you can see by her expression as she neared the finish line, she loved every minute! She told me later that the reason she never stopped was so she could get her certificate at the end! But she did a great job and finished in 2 min 11 sec. And for anyone who has never done this just picture 30 little kids under the age of 6 running for all they are worth. You have the 4 foot giant in the front who obviously runs every day...and then in the back you have the sweet little kids who's mom's and dad's are running with them trying to help get them to the finish line and the whole time about 500 people in the stands are cheering them on...I will admit in print i was wiping the tears from my eyes as london and the other kids ran past me, embarssing i know, but it was the sweetest thing i've seen in a long time. Those kids were so darling! And i couldn't pass up adding some pictures of cam we took after the race...he just looks like a little all star...give him a few years and i can just see him playing sports there!

My, oh, my, sweet baby London is no longer a baby, but a beautiful little lady! What a precious family you have, Ali, we miss you to the stars!

You sentimental fool. That is so cool. Tell her congrats from Miss Kim. Your picture taking only gets better.

Way to go London! You are getting so tall! It's no wonder you can run so fast! You have your dad's long legs!
