Just another day in DC

As soon as we got home from Chicago we were able to make a special trip to DC for some friends to be sealed to their adorable little girl. It was a semi eventful day for all!!! we arrived in plenty of time and Jared kept the kids outside while i got to go in for the sealing. About 15 of us sat awaiting the sealing, but after an hour we saw their brother and sister in law headed for the doors...it turns out they were done, and they had never called any of us up!!! The Temple workers felt AWFUL to say the least but there was nothing to be done at that point...so everyone headed home...except me. They had asked if i would take pictures for them that day, and i was especially glad that i got to have some time with them after having missed the sealing! Then we took the kids downtown for a great afternoon. We saw the hope diamond, the most amazing collection of gems we've ever seen, we got to play with a magnetic rock at the smithsonian, we played soccer on the mall, fed the ducks at capitols reflecting pond and had dinner before heading home. But all's well that ends well, right?!
And for any of you interested, i am planning on starting another blog with shots from all of the photo shoots i've been able to do that are not of my own beautiful kiddo's! I'll keep you updated when i get it up so you can see some of my work for other people!
