And we're off...well, almost!

Jared had to take a business trip to Chicago so we decided to make it a family vacation as well. Because London is now in school and it is ILLEGAL to miss more than five vacation days a YEAR...jared and i divided and conquered. Jared and Camden left mid-week and Camden got to spend a few days alone with Grandma. When London finished school on friday Addie and I picked her up at the bus stop and went straight to the airport. We parked a ways out and were shuttled in by a very helpful driver and then then we checked in for our already delayed flight. When all was said and done, we were 3 1/2 hours delayed. Thank heavens for the play place put in by the local kids museum which had a small airplane, a jumbo jet you could fly, and a control tower you could climb up and slide down. London also made a new friend which she colored with and watched part of a movie with. It was the least painful flight delay i've ever had...the girls were excited and happy the whole time, and we finally made it out sometime after 11:30 pm.
